Right on Keith I logged in just to say YEAH go for it ! It's going to make for fine reading and you may very well help some people see the religious business cult inc. for what it really is ! The New Boy stories were great, I'm sure you have lots of untapped material on hand as well. Looking forward to it. Rocket Man / Mad Man Across The Water

BN I've been out of the loop did he get his unused donated land back ? If I understood correctly there was a hand shake agreement that the title would revert back to him in the event of non building on it.

Assemblies - Before and After Waking Up
by Funchback inhappy friday to all!.
i haven't been to a meeting for maybe 10 years.
i only know what's happening nowadays from the experiences i read here or the internet in general.. anyway, on to the topic: i started attending meetings at the age of 7. as a kid, the only thing i looked forward to at the assemblies (circuit/district) was walking around veteran's stadium (philadelphia district convention) during intermission, hanging with friends, looking at girls (as i got a little older) and trying to have enough tickets to get pizza!.

Last summer was my last assembly in Montreal at the big assembly hall in P.A.T. I felt exhausted and ill on the Sunday and promptly had a panic attack during the WT review with the drones on stage. It sounded like the satan worship in the movie 'Vanishing Point' I went to the bathroom to regroup and decided to never go back after that.
The OP mentioned being a parking attendant, I did that once and was super polite and would wish everyone a nice assembly look them right in the eyes. Most were shocked ! hehe Typically they use young buff arrogant brothers looking for babes and oohhing and aahhing nice high en rides that they hope to commandeer off car lots at armaggedon.

Astounding! How much do you REALLY know the history of the Jehovah's Witnesses? I bet you DID NOT know about this!

a few days ago someone brought up an old new york newspaper called the "brooklyn eagle.
" during lunch i had a little time to do some research about the whole jw.borg and what i found almost knocked me out of my seat.

I took me a year to research and finally grasp what an evil lying self serving cult they are. Check out Ricky G's vid on the Ravn Guiliani story = mind blown ! As to how much of it is true you be the judge, nothing surprises me with these guys anymore. Look up her FB she spoke about it again a week or two ago, very smart articulate woman.

I think it was Bill Bowen read he walked out after it was announced, got in his big pick-up truck with headers and open exhaust, rumbled up to the car port and revved it up aggressively while they all stared at him through the windows... -

Just handed in my Disassociation letter
by Thirteenth tribe intonight my dl was posted by hand by my husband (a worldly guy).
i had the luxury of being at work distracted whilst he posted it.
i have been baptised for just over 2 years and studied since 2010. i couldn't take it anymore, not just the zealous dislike/disgust for 'people in the world' (this includes my husband and 99% of my family btw) but the obvious.... the investigations into child sexual abuse.

Right on Thirteenth, rock and roll ! I worked out the details over the phone with an elder last Saturday morning and he offered to me stay in so that maybe if one day I feel different I could come back easily, to keep dialogue open. This after I told him I'd been scammed into baptism by the old bait and switch Bible education to Cult trick, the ARC and them not being God's sole dispensary of truth. When I turned down his offer and said that ever since I've resolved to DA I've simply been happier he got all butt hurt, most likely because he no longer has any control over me. Company man looking to manage me using 'smooth words' which they accuse apostates of using, hypocrites. Told him I just want to be honest with everyone is all, why the big ordeal ? Reminds me of trying to break a car lease or some other binding contact, the one loosing income gets all bent out of shape and goes legal. Good thing we don't sign anything with them, can you imagine if we did ? -

Do not Disassociate, Anull your baptism
by jwfacts ini am now a jedi, so trust me on this.. .
why dis-associate, you are just playing by the wts rules?
how can you dis-associate anyway, you never thought you were baptised as a watchtower society member, you thought your dedication was to god, so why formally disassociate from something you did not formally join?
